Extending a traditional thatch house in rural Wiltshire can provide both inspiration and headaches in equal measure.

Here we have used oak cladding to conceal the modern materials required by current Building Regulations. The complicated brick match was solved by using a blend of five different bricks. Again material detailing make this extension blend with its surroundings.
